Are you ready to create a healthy morning routine checklist?

Most of us start our day by rolling out of bed and going through the motions. We brush our teeth, put on some clothes, make breakfast or lunch, and then head off to our day.

The problem is that we’re not taking time for ourselves or giving much thought to what we do before the day starts.

What if I told you that there was a way to take back your morning?

A way to have more energy and enjoy yourself in the process? All it takes is creating an intentional morning routine!

How to Create a Healthy Morning Routine Checklist

Start with Drinking Water

When you wake up, your body is dehydrated.

Drinking water helps to kick start the day right by giving your body hydration and energy at a cellular level. It can also help lower stress levels and regulate blood sugar in those with diabetes or hypoglycemia.

Putting lemon juice or salt in your water can help detox the liver and combat adrenal fatigue.

Drinking filtered water right out of bed is a must for your morning routine.

If you are struggling to drink water, getting a nice water bottle to keep by you makes a huge difference.

We love Iron Flask Water Bottles because they are so durable and leakproof.

Get Sunshine on Your Skin

Sunshine and vitamin D are essential for the body.

Wake up before sunrise to get some natural light on your skin, or spend a few minutes in front of an artificial sun lamp.

This will help you stay energized all day long. It also helps with hypertension issues as well as regulating moods; We all need morning sunlight on our skin and in our eyes to help create melatonin and other hormones.

Getting sunlight into your healthy morning routine checklist may sound simple but the benefits can’t be overlooked.

Sunlight is essential for mental health.

Morning sunlight is one of my favorite biohacking for beginners!

Take a Multivitamin

The benefits of a multivitamin are innumerable.

Multivitamins are a great way to make sure you’re getting the nutrients your body needs without having to go through all of those pesky supplement packets and stressing over every little food you eat.

Many of our fruits and vegetables are grown in depleted soil anyway so in my opinion, having a good multivitamin is essential.

We love Seeking Health Multivitamin because the vitamins aren’t made in a lab but in their natural form and are easy to absorb.

Pray or Meditate in the morning

Spending a few minutes in silence first thing can help center you and get your day started off on the right foot.

For me personally, I like to start my day with some worship music and being grateful for the things in my life.

Being thankful helps to create a positive mindset and rewires your brain to see even more positive things.

Finding things to be happy about is vital to your healthy morning routine checklist!

Don’t overlook the power of positive thinking and dwelling on what’s going right in your life.

Dress for the Day

This hack sounds kinda silly, especially if you are a stay-at-home mom.

With having 4 kids myself, I’ve found I am way more productive if I get dressed, put on sneakers and some make-up.

When my morning routine is on point, I feel full of energy and ready to take on the day.
